i originally published this newsletter on april 25, 2020.
take what resonates, scrap what doesn’t. a lot changes in 6 years.

the number 6 is ruled by venus and at home in the signs of taurus and libra. in the beginning of my practice, i saw 6 as being aligned with water and air, but instead, 6 is comprised of earth and air, aligned with its zodiac representatives.

when i think of the number 6’s connection to the earth element, i see the number 4, and fitting since 6 is created with 2 + 4, with 2 being the balance, connection, and harmony we experience through libra and 4 being the fixed earth of taurus. the number 6 moving through earth is a reminder that our connections and relationships with others must be rooted in a foundation that is upheld by our values, integrity, and deepest truths. without a solid foundation, nothing lasts for too long. this is especially seen with our relationships with ourselves.
it’s so easy to neglect ourselves, huh?
