exploring the cancer-virgo sextile

i love to view and work with the sextile aspect as drawing support from the periphery / peripheral environment. it’s not as energetically forward as say, a trine that combines elemental power, but it does help more support come in by way of inward (-) or outward (+) movement.

from a numerical lens, the sextile marking 60 degrees can be seen as the number 6 coming into the picture. 6 softens, supports, and nurtures. it’s a helping hand that extends when we need it, but it’s not a crutch nor a constant source of tension.

one of the reasons as to why i love sextile aspects is because nothing about it is transactional. it’s the kind of support you receive simply because it’s recognized that you need it and they have it. it’s mutually supportive. the sextile is much like the friend you venmo the same $20 back and forth with, and you both always include the extra for the service fee so you can receive the full amount.
