we’re vulnerable when we’re opening ourselves to be learn. learning is so vulnerable because admitting and accepting ignorance is vulnerable. it exposes where we have blindspots and where we need additional perspectives and tools.
there’s so much discernment needed to navigate these realms because indoctrination and being led astray are real possibilities.
having a good teacher is such a gift because to be a good teacher is one that always recognize the dynamic of power—not only recognizing it but also not exploiting it.
