this 6 year has gifted me so much and has taken even more, and in my own ways, i’m coming to understand why i’ve chosen to be here — because it is my choice. i no longer passively accept that i’m just here against my will because i’m not. not anymore. this life is something i choose. and with choice — and freedom — comes responsibility.
